Many of you joined us at our very successful Conference in San José, CA last October. This year’s conference, Community Healing Through Action: Intersectional Approaches to Violence Prevention promises to be just as insightful. After twelve years as an organization dedicated to helping to build safe and healthy communities, it is now critically important to view this promising work that has spread across the country through a new lens, a healing lens. This conference will explore how those working with the traumatized and angry stay on their feet and heal themselves; how law enforcement and community wounds can be healed; how those traumatized made it to healing; and how the faith community serves a vital role in community healing.
